Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been charged with the crime of forced touching, according to documents registered this Thursday in a court in the city of Albany, New York.
a crime related to the alleged cases of sexual abuse that led him to resign in August.
The criminal complaint alleges that Cuomo placed his hand "under the victim's blouse" and "towards his private part."
The crime was described in the complaint as that "the person is guilty of forced touching of sexual parts or other intimate parts of another person for the purpose of degrading or abusing said person or for the purpose of satisfying the sexual desire of the actor."
