After the announcement of retaliatory measures to
"defend the rights of French fishermen"
against the British, the Minister of the Sea, Annick Girardin, defended herself from wanting to start general hostilities.
But the
"fight"
hardened this Thursday with the diversion of a British fishing vessel.
And Franco-British relations continue to deteriorate.

The two ships, specialized in scallops, were checked by the French maritime gendarmerie in the Bay of Seine.

London says on the contrary that the boat was in order.
