The MDR symphony orchestra will play music and sounds from the pop radio station “MDR Jump” live in Leipzig from 6 am to 9 am.

Pop stars such as Stefanie Heinzmann, Milow and Bosse will also be guests, who will present their songs together with the orchestra.

Director Karola Wille said in advance that the MDR combines two products that at first glance did not belong together: the MDR symphony orchestra and the pop wave “MDR Jump”.

"And we show that something unique can emerge from this and that culture can be experienced by everyone."
