After more than 27 years, the investigation into the murder of former PRI presidential candidate Luis Donaldo Colosio could be reopened if the Attorney General of Mexico heeds a recommendation issued by the National Human Rights Commission.
The investigations of the autonomous body show that the case was tried in the midst of various violations of the integrity of the only accused and sentenced for the death of Colosio.
