Commissioner Kobi Shabtai said today (Thursday) that the latest police activity against the criminal organizations is "just the beginning", and warned that in the near future "large arrests and fatalities in the criminal organizations" will be made. "Those who sow in tears, Brina will reap.

"From the beginning of the year we have sown countless intelligence, investigative and operational operations, and recently, after months of ripening, we have begun to reap the rewards," the commissioner said.

"Along with the many forces and resources we use to eradicate crime, the trick and daring I encourage is also required. A creative, sophisticated activity that is often done away from the public eye."

According to Saturn, over the past week police have revealed to the public many months of activities that included infiltrating agents into the organizations, as well as the arrests of dozens of suspects across the country for widespread hard drug trafficking offenses and illegal gambling.

"We have declared war on the criminals' pockets with a significant economic attack that in the last week alone has caused them hundreds of millions of shekels in damage. We will not rest or cease, but we will increase and strengthen the fight for the security of us all," he concluded.
