What is actually not a big deal becomes a mystery to some.
The big question: how does he hold his cell phone to his ear?
Berlin - Armin Laschet has often been the target of ridicule on Twitter.
The Bundestag election campaign meant tough weeks for the Union Chancellor candidate.
However, things did not get any better after the election debacle.
Meanwhile the CDU is looking for a way to a successor for Laschet.
The CDU politician is also no longer Prime Minister in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Now he sits as a simple member of the Bundestag.
But at the constituent meeting on Tuesday (October 26th), he caused laughter again.
Several users posted a photo of Laschet on Twitter, which had previously run on the news agency ticker.
Laschet can be seen sitting in parliament and talking on the phone.
But his hand is not holding the cell phone, instead he grabs his face.
The phone remains fixed to his ear.
That begs the question: how does it work?
Laschet photo becomes a riddle: "Has anything to do with negative pressure?"
For example, Patrick Diekmann, journalist at

tweeted
on Tuesday evening: “Question of the day: Has Armin Laschet accidentally stuck a cell phone to his ear?” Numerous comments end up among the tweets.
There are increasing (sometimes ironic) considerations that a magnet, a Velcro fastener or a hidden holder are involved. “Is the protective film attached to the iPhone incorrectly ?!” speculates another user.
Some post the picture rotated by 90 degrees so that the cell phone is on top - it's all a question of perspective, one might think.
But there is also some malice mixed with the comments.
“Has anything to do with negative pressure?” Or “That is how it should be.
Is a company cell phone from RWE, firmly soldered, ”it says, for example.

Depending on which political function Laschet will soon take on, it could be quiet about the man from North Rhine-Westphalia in the future.
Users also use this fact for their comments: “Well most of the time I'm really happy that he doesn't provide the chancellor, but it's kind of a shame about the meme potential that we lose as a result.” And: “Laschet would love to have a major role.
Since he's no longer prime minister, he's been experimenting with a cell phone. "
Someone else notes: “Laschet - the magician”, followed by the reaction: “If this photo had gone around the world instead of Armin's laughter, then he would now negotiate Jamaica.” Instead, the traffic light parties are currently negotiating a coalition agreement.

Users also wonder if the photo is real.
Photos from the agencies dpa and AFP show the scene in different moments.

had already published another photo of Laschet on the way to the state representation of North Rhine-Westphalia at the beginning of October.
Laschet then walks over a sidewalk, cell phone to his ear, head at a slight angle as if he were balancing the device on his head, hands at waist height, full of files and other objects.
No bracket can be seen there either.
The public does not know what the phone call in the Bundestag was about.
But the days remain grueling for Laschet.
He wants to moderate the personal process in the CDU.
He will have to make a few more phone calls to do this.
