The founder and director of the American social networking company, Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, announced the change of its name to “Meta” as of today.
"As of today, our name has become dead," Zuckerberg was quoted as saying by the media during a virtual presentation he conducted today.
Zuckerberg also displayed the company's new badge in the form of a blue "Mobius" ribbon.
