Two months after resigning:
Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was charged yesterday (Thursday) with committing a sex offense in a Albany court.
According to the New York Post, Cuomo is expected to be arrested next week and charged with touching his former assistant.
As a reminder, last August the New York Attorney General released a document attributing to him the sexual harassment of 11 women.
The former governor denied that he committed the acts, but stated that he accepted "full responsibility" for what he called "unacceptable attempts to act with humor and affection."
According to a copy of the complaint from the Albany sheriff's office, it was alleged that Cuomo forcibly touched a woman at his official residence on December 7 last year in the afternoon.
The complaint read: "On the said date, time and location, the accused intentionally and without a legitimate aim placed his hand under the victim's shirt and into her intimate organ. Everything was done in violation of the law."
