Inflation in Mexico seems uncontrollable, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).

The National Consumer Price Index reached in September one of its highest levels in recent months.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador attributed it to a global drop in production, while sellers and consumers suffer the consequences.
