Allershausen

- How unfortunate the concatenation of circumstances can be was shown on Thursday afternoon on the A 9 near Allershausen: At the exit to Allershausen in the direction of Nuremberg, a van and a van collided with each other.

As a result, the traffic backed up and four trucks crashed into each other at the end of the traffic jam.

Many injured

Three people were injured, one of them severe.

The fire brigade had to free the slightly trapped trucker from his cab.

Another truck driver was moderately injured and another was slightly injured.

More accidents

In the traffic jam at the level of AK Neufahrn, two articulated lorries drove in stop-and-go traffic.

The driver behind noticed too late that the traffic was coming to a standstill again.

He drove into the vehicle in front.

No people were injured here, but the articulated lorries were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed away.

The recovery lasted until the early evening.

The property damage caused is estimated by the police at over 150,000 euros.

Highway closed

The A 9 was completely closed for around 45 minutes at the Allershausen junction.

The left lane could then be released again.

The right two lanes were closed for around four hours to rescue the tractor units.

In addition to patrols from the Freising traffic police inspection, the fire brigades from Allershausen, Leonhardsbuch, Kranzberg, Eching, a rescue helicopter, several crews from the rescue services and the Munich-North motorway maintenance authority were in action.
