Nadine Morano has her cell phone stolen in Paris

The former minister and MEP lodged a complaint, after being stripped of her smartphone at the Gare de l'Est.

According to the weekly, the former Sarkozy minister realized the disappearance of her iPhone once installed in a taxi.

She lodged a complaint the same evening in a Parisian police station.

Police have started a search and have reportedly identified an African-type individual.

The phone was geolocated rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis and turned off quickly, which would tend to confirm the trail of a theft.

"We are no longer safe"

The phone contains many numbers of politicians and journalists, including, according to Nadine Morano, that of the current Minister of the Interior.

"Whether in the Gare de l'Est or the Gare du Nord, we are no longer safe,"
