Mattia Maestri, the so-called patient one, that is, the first to be diagnosed with Coronavirus in Italy, was investigated for culpable epidemic by the Lodi Prosecutor's Office.
In recent days, after the request of the same prosecutor, the investigating judge dismissed the accusation.
The investigation began a year and a half ago.
The suspicion was that Maestri had not been immediately honest with the doctors of the Codogno hospital, talking about his contacts.
At the end of the investigation, however, no offenses were identified.
It was recognized that Maestri did not appear to have violated any norm: hence the archiving.
