The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency informed today about the situation on the labor market in Saxony-Anhalt in October.
Labor market experts assume that unemployment in the country has continued to fall.
The reason is the seasonal upturn in autumn.
Most recently, 75,700 people were registered as unemployed in mid-September.
The unemployment rate in the state was 6.8 percent in September, nationwide at 5.4 percent.
Halle - Around 2.46 million people were registered as unemployed in Germany.
In view of the corona crisis, the employment agencies in Saxony-Anhalt assume, according to previous information, that there will be more applications from companies for short-time allowance.
The background to this are problems, especially in the manufacturing industry, due to global delivery problems for raw materials and electronic parts.
