Starnberg - The city of Starnberg has a new senior advisory board.
The six proposed members were recently appointed directly to the Seniors' Advisory Council by the Starnberg City Council.
Reinhard Dirr, Willi Illguth, Renate Reitzig and Hannelore Uffelmann are again represented on the committee. Annette Leblanc and Lydia Lory have joined as new members. The members of the senior citizens' advisory council stand up for the interests and concerns of the older generations and are direct contact persons for all senior citizens in Starnberg. Citizens could submit nominations to the city of Starnberg up to September 22nd.
Since fewer than eight proposals had been received by this time, an election was no longer necessary according to the statutes.
The Starnberg Seniors' Advisory Board is normally elected every four years.
Because of the corona pandemic, the election had to be postponed for a year.
On November 24th, the Seniors' Advisory Board begins its work with the constituent meeting.
The members elect the first chairman and his deputy.
