One of the suspects arrested as part of the investigation into the disappearance of the boy Nissim Sheetrit in 1986 and the murder of Avi Edri in 1990, signed a cooperation agreement with investigators today (Thursday), as published on Channel 12.

As part of the agreement he signed, the suspect undertook to provide investigators with incriminating information about the two murders and those involved in the affair.

In return for the agreement he is expected to receive relief from charges or relief from punishment.

About two weeks ago, the publication was allowed that there was a development in the investigation of the murders, after the police arrested six suspects involved and detained several more suspects for investigation.

A few months before the disappearance of Sheetrit, who was 17 at the time of the incident and whose body was never found, he was abducted from the yeshiva in Ashdod where he studied, and beaten by the chastity guard, who threatened not to go out with girls he knew.

He later met a man named Mike, with whom he hung out for about a week, until his traces disappeared after a meeting the two held in central Jerusalem.

Police suspected that the man was a messenger of the chastity shift, who decided to kill him and hide his body, but he fled to the Netherlands the year Sheetrit disappeared.
