What actually happened before the TV cameras hit the "hit boom"?

The audience saw a remarkable gesture by Florian Silbereisen.

Dortmund - how mean!

The fact that Florian Silbereisen led through the ARD “Schlagerbooom” with a constant smile on his face earned him ridicule on Twitter.

“After a program like this, the Goschn must hurt for 14 days from the constant grin,” wrote a user there - and received more than 50 likes for the Läster-Post.

"Schlagerbooom": Florian Silbereisen poured out his heart to the audience in the hall

What is remarkable, however, is what our editorial team received from one of the several thousand viewers in the Westfalenhalle: Silbereisen is not just a beaming man when the cameras go on and millions of TV fans can watch.

He came on stage especially for the fans in the hall before the broadcast started.

And poured out his heart to them.

Mario Hanousek reports about this - the Austrian is a Eurovision song contest expert and blogger and has given his ESC assessments on tz.de several times in the past.

Now he traveled to the “Schlagerbooom” in Dortmund and glittered with the other fans in the audience, as his Twitter photo shows.

60 minutes until the #Schlagerbooom.

"Schlagerbooom": Florian Silbereisen came on stage without a jacket before the show

Hanousek witnessed how Silbereisen let himself be carried away to an emotional appearance before the cameras came on.

"A few minutes before it started, he came out, almost had tears in his eyes because he was so overwhelmed," said the visitor.

Silbereisen only wore his T-shirt on his upper body, not his show jacket yet.

"Florian said he had goose bumps because after all this time it started again, a concert like before, finally with an audience again," continues Hanousek.

A great gesture from Silbereisen!

To which he was by no means obliged, he could alternatively have made himself comfortable in the artist's cloakroom.

What also happened, according to Hanousek, before the cameras came on and only the audience in the Westfalenhalle noticed: DJ Ötzi had rehearsed his choreography.

The team five sang their song without show outfits.

And the Pyro has already been subjected to a test.
