Complicating the block handling was the fact that there were also two traffic accidents with trucks.
"A chain of unfortunate circumstances," said a spokesman for the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria South.

A bitter foretaste of 2022: Because the State of Salzburg is planning - in addition to block handling for trucks - to lock out holidaymakers from the summer.
If it is up to the will of Transport Minister Stefan Schnöll, block processing for cars will also take place on the weekends in summer 2022.

"Many holidaymakers coming from Bavaria are already driving straight over the Kleine Walserberg onto the state road," believes a spokesman for the regional transport council.
The two long summer construction sites on the Tauern motorway also contributed to the fact that many did not even drive on the motorway.
"They rolled over us this year," says the spokesman.
His suggestion: the holiday caravan would have to be dosed at the Walserberg.
Schnöll is particularly afraid of the next two summers because Asfinag is renovating several tunnels in the Werfen area.

The ÖAMTC motorist club sees the idea of block processing on the Walserberg as differentiated.
"There was an unwanted block clearance at Walserberg this summer because of the Corona * entry controls, when the traffic jam reached back to Anger on the German A8," says Aloisia Gurtner.
But block handling occurred several times at the Hiefler Tunnel due to congestion.
The fact that the country now wants block clearance in front of the Walserberg shows that the exit barriers are obviously not working, according to the ÖAMTC spokeswoman.
