Walter Russell Mead: "The Americans' postulate is that the Germans run Europe"

Walter Russell Mead is a professor at Bard College in New York State. He underlines in particular the robustness of the American judicial system which resisted Hurricane Trump and does not underestimate its ability to unite in the face of a Chinese enemy who worries both right and left of the political chessboard.
