About 11,000 spectators gather at Menora Mivtachim Hall, tens of thousands enter the football fields, but only in the high school league does the Ministry of Education ban fans from entering the halls. The Ministry of Education stated: "The government decision prohibits a gathering of more than 50 people in an educational setting"

While all sports fields in Israel are allowed to admit fans without restriction, of course subject to the presentation of a green mark or a negative result for a Corona test, only in high school Premier League games is it forbidden to allow spectators to enter the fields.

According to the directive of the Ministry of Education, fans are not allowed on the pitches, and in every game there is a person responsible for checking that beyond the players, coaches and referees, there are only a few other people allowed to be present at the game.

"It is absurd that in all the sports fields in the country, crowds are allowed to enter stadiums and fields without a quantity limit, and we are not allowed to let in even a few dozen," say professionals in the league.

"All in all these are the same students who come to school every day, are together in classes and breaks, and we just want them to come to the school gym to encourage their classmates during the games."

The league proposes to approve the entry of only those with a green mark or to present a negative result for a corona test, as is also required in the professional sports leagues in the various industries, and hopes that approval will soon be given by the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry of Education stated in response to Israel Today's request: "The education regulations in the corona time set by the government do not allow more than 50 people to gather in a closed room under an educational framework. Culture ceremonies and other events are also prohibited for more than 50 people. "Change the regulations, there will certainly be no prevention that parents and the public can enter the games subject to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, as in regular sports games."
