2022 census survey agency for the district introduces itself - volunteers are still wanted for census

Fürstenfeldbruck district - In the coming year there will be another census from May, also known as the census.

The local survey office in the district office under the direction of Alina Winkler and Matthias Keil is responsible for carrying out the 2022 census in the Fürstenfeldbruck district.

Interested parties can now apply to be surveyors.

The census is a nationwide statistical survey that determines reliable population figures for Germany and thus also for the communities in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. In order to improve the quality of the database, part of the population is also interviewed directly in a household survey on a sample basis. The census provides information on how people live, live and work in Germany as well as other data such as age, gender and citizenship. The survey is of great importance as it helps to make important decisions in politics, business and society.

Since July, Winkler and Keil from the survey office for the Fürstenfeldbruck district have been preparing the census.

To this end, the collection agency works closely with the Bavarian State Office for Statistics.

After the establishment of the survey center was completed at the beginning of October, the hiring of staff and the recruiting of survey officers are now on the agenda.

In addition, the team at the survey office is currently determining the time required for the personal questioning of the citizens on site by taking random samples of the routes to the houses and apartments.

Surveyors wanted

For the census to be carried out in May 2022, the Fürstenfeldbruck district survey agency is looking for around 310 interviewers to carry out the household survey as well as the residential home survey.

Anyone who is of legal age and is interested in voluntary work in return for an expense allowance of around 700 to 800 euros should apply to be a survey officer.
