Anyone who previously had to be in quarantine, for example because they were the contact person for a Corona * infected person, continued to receive their wages.

But from November this will no longer be the case.

Unvaccinated people who are quarantined by the authorities because of contact will no longer receive wages.

The government justifies the new regulation with the fact that every citizen now had the opportunity to be vaccinated.

For vaccinated and genesis patients, it still applies that they do not have to go into quarantine if they have had contact with an infected person.

The new regulation is therefore not relevant for these groups.

However, it is important to note that, regardless of whether you have been vaccinated, unvaccinated or recovered, if you are infected with the coronavirus, your wages will continue to be paid, as the case of illness applies here.

The new catalog of fines will apply in Germany from November 10th.

From then on, drivers should be even more careful to really adhere to all the rules.

Otherwise it could be expensive.

  • In the future, drivers should keep their eyes open, especially when parking.

If you park your car when there is no stopping or parking, you will have to pay up to 55 euros instead of the previous 15 euros.

Unauthorized parking in parking spaces for the disabled or parking spaces for e-cars or car sharing vehicles will also cost that much from November 10th.

  • Blocking fire service entrances or ambulances will also become more expensive.

    Here, 100 euros are due.

  • If you like to hit the gas, you should think twice about it in the future.

Speed offenders will be punished more severely from next month.

The fines have been doubled under the new regulations.

This means that anyone who is 16 to 20 km / h too fast in urban areas will have to pay a fine of 70 euros instead of the previous 35 euros.

Motor vehicle insurance: special regulation enables short-term changes

Insurance companies and contracts usually have a notice period of three months.

It's a little different with car insurance.

Here the deadline is only one month.

While this rule is not new, it is important in November as most policyholders have annual contracts that expire on December 31st.

If you want to change your insurance provider, you should definitely cancel by November 30th.
