- According to the experts' analysis, there are no highly problematic substances such as asbestos installed, the disposal of which would drive up demolition costs.
The community will now get offers from demolition companies and tender, explains Mayor Robert Kühn.
The demolition should take place next spring if possible.
“We're doing everything we can to make progress,” says Kühn.
In the 2021 budget, 2.2 million euros have been set for the demolition work.
However, this is only a rough estimate.
The pollutant analysis was necessary so that the specialist companies could quantify the costs in advance.
"A lot of samples were taken," reports Kühn.
However, no substances were found that require special treatment.
“Just the usual.
Nothing, which is why we would have to pull a Chernobyl dome over the construction site, ”says Kühn.
The bathing park has been closed since the pandemic began in March 2020.
A new building is planned, but there is still no specific time schedule for its implementation.
