(CNN) - The
United Kingdom plans to remove the seven countries that remain on its travel "red" list as of November 1.
This follows the UK introducing a new system for international travel earlier this month, in which testing requirements were relaxed for many travelers and fully vaccinated destinations were designated 'red' or 'green'.
A week later, the United Kingdom removed 47 countries from the red list, leaving only seven destinations in the red: Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

Green list rules

Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland still require that all travelers, regardless of vaccination status, have a PCR test on the second day.

Unvaccinated travelers arriving in the UK from green list countries must submit a negative pre-departure test (completed within 72 hours of departure) and must book and pay for a PCR test on the second and eighth days.
Unvaccinated travelers on the green list must also be quarantined for 10 days upon arrival in the UK, either at home or in appropriate accommodation.

Unvaccinated travelers who are quarantined in England can end the quarantine early through the Test to Release program.
