The State of New York has joined the declarations of New Jersey, Florida and Arizona and announced yesterday (Thursday) the withdrawal of its investments of $ 268 billion from the global company Unilever, following the boycott against Israel announced by its subsidiary - Ben & Jerry's.
In a statement issued by New York State Comptroller Spokesman Thomas Dinapoli, he said that an investigation they conducted found that Unilever and its subsidiary were "engaging in BDS activity," referring to the "boycott investment sanctions" movement, which seeks to isolate Israel because of its treatment of Palestinians.

In addition, the states of Florida and Arizona also announced at the end of September that following the Ben & Jerrys boycott, they are withdrawing their investments from Unilever.
