At 6 am today (29th), a truck collided with a motorcycle on Gloucester Road, Wan Chai. The truck lost control and ran into the railing on the roadside. The body of the truck shoveled onto the road partition. The front of the truck was severely damaged and the windshield burst.
The motorcyclist and the driver of the truck were not injured, and a passenger of the truck suffered minor injuries.
Sources at the scene stated that the truck driver suspected that the alcohol breath test exceeded the standard and needs to be taken back to the police station for further investigation.
The police are investigating the case.
