The 22-year-old Mexican actor Octavio Ocaña died this Saturday, as confirmed by the Attorney General of the state of Mexico to CNN.
The young man played the well-known character of Benito Rivers on the Televisa network's “Necinos” series.
Both the television channel and Elías Solorio, the producer of the family comedy in which Ocaña participated, lamented the death of the young actor through their social networks.
"I can't believe it. Rest in peace, my dear Octavio. You leave all of us who knew you very sad. Have a good trip, Benito," Solorio wrote on Twitter.
Dear Octavio, "Benito", thank you for all the joy you gave us.
You will always be present in our memory and in our hearts.
Your light will never go out.
Rest in peace.

According to preliminary investigations by the Prosecutor's Office, the actor was driving a gray truck that crashed on the Chamapa-Lechería highway in the State of Mexico.
Two more people who were with him in the vehicle were detained by the Public Ministry to give their versions of the event.
So far, the Prosecutor's Office has not given more details in this regard since the case is in the investigation period.
