Damascus, SANA- Today announced the names of the winners of the prizes of the 20th session of Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention and the Organizer Prize

The names of the winners of the prizes of the 20th session of the Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) prize were announced today, at the conclusion of the session's work on the stage of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Damascus University.

276 innovative works in seven fields competed in the twentieth session of the exhibition, which was organized by the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in cooperation with the Syrian Inventors Association and the General Organization for International Fairs and Markets, and a strategic partnership with Syriatel.

The award of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) was won by Noor Ibrahim Al-Amouri for inventing the technology for connecting the free wire, and Muhammad Muayyad Ahmad Abdullah, Muwaffaq Al-Kassam and Dr. Hani Amasha from Damascus University for inventing a small thermal circulator.

The first prize for the reconstruction axis, worth one million pounds, Dima Ali Nabhan Salameh, won the second prize, 750,000 pounds, Jamal Gerges Hanoush, and the third prize, 500,000 pounds, Ali Abdul Latif Ibrahim.

In the design and construction axis, the first prize was won by Shaima Ghassan Ahmed, the second prize was Mahmoud Ramadan, Abdullah Al-Saghir, Hamza Al-Etr, Hassan Al-Zulfi, Ahmed Al-Qasoum, Moaz Al-Rahhal and the third Abdul-Hadi Al-Khayyat. Ahmed Al-Santali, Ahmed Taha, Raed Al-Masry, the third, Firas Daoud, Firas Youssef and Rawan Ismail.

In the field of medicine, the first prize was won by Dr. Ali Mahmoud, the second prize by Dr. Nafie Afash and the engineer Sidra Afash, while the third prize was awarded to Dr. Khaled Al-Awf. On the mechanics axis, the first prize was won by Jaafar Adnan Mahmoud, the second prize was awarded to Abdul Latif Al-Sayed and Saleh Al-Sayed, and the third was Majd Barakat, Khalil Al-Halabi, Rahaf Al-Nasser and Sulaf Jabbour. and Abbas Sheikh Dagher.

As for the technology axis, the first prize went to Ali Tawfiq Zidan and Muhammad Adnan Ibrahim, the second prize to Bilal Qawuqji, Fatuma Abdul Aziz, Abdul Karim Al-Rais, Zain Al-Atassi, Abdul Rahman Al-Naqouri, and the third to Dr.

In the chemistry axis, the first prize was won by Safaa Adel Shahoud and Hassan Ahmed Khalifa, the second by Dr. Aisha Hassan Khalaf, the third by Dr. Alia Muhammad Hindi and Dr. Muhammad Yahya Masri from Aleppo University.

Medals and in-kind prizes were also distributed to fifteen participants, of whom the three gold medals were won by Dr. Aida Muhammad Jawad Mahdi from the Iraqi Inventors Association, Razi Al-Darf and Muhammad Nael Obaid from the Revolutionary Youth Union, while the three silver medals were won by Dr. Halima Jaber Muhammad from Iraq Lyn Ahmed Jihad Najeeb, Maan Qassem, Muhammad Ibrahim and Abdullah Abdullah from the Ministry of Education, while the three bronze medals were won by Jumaa Saeed from the Revolutionary Youth Union, Nour Al-Maghoush and Asaad Al-Awki from the Ministry of Education.
