Lebanese President General Michel Aoun confirmed that the Crisis Cell is conducting its deliberations to address the repercussions of the recent Saudi position against Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted Aoun as saying today that it is necessary for communication between the two countries to be at the level that Lebanon aspires to in its relations with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries, pointing to keenness to establish the best relations in this regard.
In turn, the Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Bassam Mawlawi, ruled out the resignation of the Lebanese government headed by Najib Mikati, stressing that it will work to settle the situation with the Gulf.
Moloy added that the prime minister does not find the solution by the government's resignation, but rather by continuing to shoulder its responsibilities.
Yesterday, Mikati expressed his regret at the Saudi regime's decision to recall its ambassador to Lebanon for consultations and asked the Lebanese ambassador to leave.

The Saudi regime had protested against old statements made by the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Qardahi, before assigning him to his post, in which he demanded to stop the war waged by the Saudi regime on Yemen, describing it as aggression.
