The Chinese president also expressed China's willingness to work with all parties to enhance vaccine access and affordability in developing countries and make a positive contribution to building a global defense line through vaccination, noting that China, along with 30 other countries, also launched an initiative of the Belt and Road Partnership on Cooperation In the field of covid 19 vaccines.
During his speech, Xi said that China's development will provide great and new opportunities to the world and inject more momentum into the global economy, and that China will remain committed to the country's core policy of opening up to unleash its huge market potential as well as great domestic demand.
The Chinese president noted that his country will support institutional opening-up including rules, regulations, management and standards, strengthen protection of intellectual property rights, continue to promote a market-based and law-based business environment as well as keep pace with international standards, and ensure a fair and equitable market system for domestic and foreign companies.
