In Germany, the daily corona case numbers continue to rise.
The RKI reports more than 21,000 new infections.
Kassel - The Corona * case numbers are still on an upward trend in Germany.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) also reported a significant increase in the seven-day incidence on Saturday (October 30, 2021).
The RKI gave the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week in the morning as 145.1.
For comparison: on Thursday (October 29, 2021) the corona incidence was 139.2 *, a week ago it was 100.0.
In addition, the health authorities reported 21,543 new infections to the RKI within one day.
This is evident from the figures that reflect the status of the RKI dashboard at 04.15 a.m.
A week ago the value was 15,145 infections.

The case numbers of the RKI can differ from those of the individual federal states. One reason for this is the longer transmission routes between the RKI and the responsible health authorities. The RKI's Covid-19 dashboard can also be adjusted during the day.
Nationwide, 90 deaths were reported within 24 hours.
A week ago there were 86 deaths.
This increases the number of people who have died in connection with a Covid 19 infection to 95,696.
The RKI has counted 4,580,663 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected.

Corona case numbers in Germany: Hospitalization incidence from Friday (29.10.2021)
The number of corona patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days - the most important parameter for a possible tightening of the corona restrictions - was given by the RKI on Friday as 3.50 (Thursday: 3.31).
The value is not published on Saturday and Sunday.
With the indicator it must be taken into account that hospital admissions are sometimes reported with delay.
A nationwide threshold value from when the situation can be viewed critically is not provided for the incidence of hospitalization, among other things because of large regional differences.
The previous high was around 15.5 around Christmas time.
