The number of shots fired, eleven, and the sequence, as well as the direction, reveal "conduct intentionally and without justification aimed at causing death".
The carabinieri and the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office seem to have no doubts about the tragic fact of blood that occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday in Ercolano, in the province of Naples, where a 53-year-old truck driver, Vincenzo Palumbo, killed Giuseppe Fusella, of 26 years old, and Tullio Pagliaro, 27, after having mistaken them for thieves.
The only fault that can be attributed to the two boys is that of having stopped in the car in front of that suburban house;
it is not yet clear why.
Vincenzo Palumbo was detained by the Naples Public Prosecutor as he was considered a serious suspect of the double murder.
The two boys were not found in possession of firearms or any other kind.
In the car there were no "burglary" tools and not even clothes to distort the face and make them unrecognizable.
Furthermore, none of the elements gathered by the investigators suggests that the two boys were about to commit a theft or robbery.
