recruitment tension reduction plan
" announced by Prime Minister Jean Castex at the end of September, two decrees relating to measures in favor of long-term job seekers were published this Saturday in
the Official Journal
.

Aid of 8,000 euros will be granted to companies which will take on a professionalization contract for the long-term unemployed, whose number has increased by 10% with the crisis. This assistance will be paid to the employer by the State for contracts signed between November 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 with people aged at least 30. Indeed, for the youngest, a premium is already planned until June 2022 under the plan 1 young, 1 solution - of 5,000 euros for a minor and 8,000 euros for an adult.
The second decree promulgates exceptional aid of 1,000 euros for certain long-term job seekers training in companies in recruiting trades. "
This aid is intended to facilitate access to employment for the most distant people often confronted with material difficulties which slow them down to return to the world of work
", specifies the decree. A first payment of 50% will be made at the latest one month after entering the training. The balance of the aid is paid at the end.
The executive is tackling long-term unemployment which has worsened with the crisis.
Of the 5.98 million job seekers registered in the operator's three main categories (A, B and C) in the second quarter of 2021, just over 3 million have been out of business for at least a year, or 309 200 more since the start of the pandemic.
Result: long-term job seekers now represent more than 50% of those registered in categories A, B and C.

The aim of the "
recruitment tension reduction plan
", endowed with 1.4 million euros, of which 800 million euros are devoted to the training of job seekers, is to strengthen the training of both employees and employees. unemployed, in order to reconcile the recruitment needs of business leaders and those looking for work.
