According to our colleagues, a dozen firefighters from the Pantin barracks quickly managed to extinguish the fire, thus preventing the spread of flames to a nearby house, but it was not possible to save the victim, no doubt surprised in his sleep.
The corpse was in such poor condition that it could not be determined whether it was male or female.
The Bobigny prosecutor's office indicated that an autopsy must be ordered for the identification of the body as part of the investigation entrusted to the judicial police to determine the circumstances of the death.
