Today, simultaneous demonstrations were organized in 9 European cities to protest against the continued detention of patients by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's regime.

According to the Turkish newspaper Zaman, members of parliaments, many NGOs, volunteers and Turkish refugees participated in the demonstrations in German, French, Belgian and British cities.

In the Netherlands, the demonstrators gathered in front of the International Court of Justice in The Hague to demand the immediate release of sick detainees in the prisons of the Turkish regime, while the participants in these demonstrations in different cities in the Netherlands submitted a request to Parliament to pressure the Erdogan regime to release sick prisoners.

The consolidated statement issued by the demonstrators in Turkish, Dutch and English confirmed that the judiciary under Erdogan's regime has lost its independence and has become a means of execution by this regime.

It is noteworthy that Erdogan's regime is holding tens of thousands of people in its prisons, including hundreds of patients, in harsh conditions and torture, without them being able to obtain the necessary care, especially in light of the spread of the Corona epidemic that threatens their lives.
