Tuesday, the bishops of France meet in Lourdes for their autumn assembly;
this obviously occurs the day after receipt of the Sauvé report dealing with sexual violence against minors in the Church.
After the time of amazement and sorrow, it's time for action.
What to do with this voluminous document which points to ailments with multiple causes, the resolution of which promises to be complex?
The time has come both to "repair" the living and to prevent tragedies:
"Blessed are the pure in heart, they will see God."

Certain measures can quickly be put in place: welcoming and listening to complainants, protocol with the courts, compensation for victims.
Provisions relating to the government of the parishes or to the formation of seminarians, the accompaniment of priests, could also be decided.
