The Lebanese military judiciary issued arrest warrants for 5 new persons belonging to the Lebanese Forces militia, against the background of the massacre committed by the militia in the Tayouneh area in the capital, Beirut.
Today, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that the first military investigative judge, Fadi Sawan, issued pre-trial arrest warrants against five people at the end of an interrogation session.
Seven Lebanese were killed and about 60 others wounded in an ambush carried out by the Lebanese Forces Party militia on the 14th of last October against unarmed demonstrators who came out to express their position rejecting the politicization of the investigation into the Beirut port explosion.
