12,000 jobs at Amazon, 6,000 people at La Poste, 2,800 on the Fnac-Darty side ... The players in trade and logistics are looking for seasonal workers for the period.


Single Day, Black Friday, Christmas… November and December represent two strong months of the year for players in trade and logistics.

To cope with this peak in activity, companies in the sector do not hesitate to recruit.

Amazon wants to hire 12,000 seasonal workers for positions in distribution centers, sorting and local delivery agencies to "

help prepare, pack and ship customer orders

." The juggernaut of e-commerce highlights the possibility of obtaining a CDI following these short contracts varying between two and four months. "

In 2020, 1,500 people who joined us for the end of year celebrations then stayed on permanent contracts,

" said an Amazon spokesperson.

La Poste is recruiting 6,000 people, mainly over the period from November to December and in postman, delivery and parcel sorting positions.

At this time of year, the company is in charge of delivering around 4 million packages per day compared to 1.6 to 2 million daily the rest of the year.

The Fnac-Darty group also offers 2,800 jobs in anticipation of the end-of-year celebrations.

In detail, 800 fixed-term positions are open within Fnac and 500 positions at Darty, for sales, logistics and in-store checkout.

Nearly 1,200 fixed-term positions are also available in the group's warehouses.
