A new exhibition called "Iron Sheep: Cultural Heroes, Illustrating Songs" honors the artists and creators who have shaped Israel's soundtrack over the years, in an exhibition of illustrations to texts of the best-known songs written and accompanied by three generations of Israelis.

Among the songs illustrated in the exhibition: "Od Hozer Hanigun" by Natan Alterman and Naftali Alter, Ira Gabriela Baruch, "The Automatic Dancer" by Zvika Pick and Mirit Shem Or, Ira Batya Colton, "You Sell Me Once" created by Hamutal Ben Zeev Efron and Idan Raichel, Ira Noa Peled, "Strawberries" created by Zeev Nehama and Tamir Kaliski, air by Assaf Hanukkah and more.

The exhibition is presented as part of Illustration Week at the Ahuzat Rene Hotel, Beit Romano, Tel Aviv.
The exhibition, curated by Hilit Sheffer and Benny Sarid, creates unconventional connections between texts and young and old illustrators alike, presenting their personal interpretation of the text they have chosen.

"Iron Sheep" is a name-calling project for the purpose of honoring Israeli cultural heroes and Hebrew music in all its forms.
The project was established at the initiative of Aroma Music and its goal is to preserve and innovate Israeli art and make it accessible to both young and old audiences.
