Who occupies which post in the new federal government?

A new survey provides information about the current public opinion.

Berlin / Munich - For the third day in a row, representatives of the SPD, Greens and FDP are in their detailed talks for a possible coalition agreement.

While the FDP commented on the commuter flat rate, the speed limit provides plenty of talking point.

A new Forsa survey, however, provides information about who the population would want in the cabinet of the new federal government.

The survey is available to the

editorial network Germany

.

1002 people took part in the survey.

Forsa survey: Who should belong to the new federal government?

According to the survey, Robert Habeck (Greens) and Christian Lindner (FDP) enjoy great trust.

As

reported by

the

editorial network in Germany

, 34 percent of those surveyed said that Habeck should be part of the new government.

FDP boss Christian Lindner comes to one percentage point less.

This resulted from an open question.

Both Linder and Habeck have shown interest in the position at the top of the finance ministry in the past.

However, the possible traffic light coalitionists regularly emphasize that personnel decisions should only be clarified at the very end of the ongoing coalition negotiations.

They should be completed by the end of November.

Most recently, a Nobel laureate in economics warned against Lindner as finance minister - and recommended an adversary.

The designated Federal Chancellor of the SPD, Olaf Scholz, only got a total of 28 percent approval, as the

editorial network

wrote.

The Chancellor candidate of the Greens, Annalena Baerbock, want to see only 14 percent in the cabinet of the new government.

Who will be the successor to Health Minister Jens Spahn?

SPD health expert Karl Lauterbach, who seems to be omnipresent with his knowledge as an epidemiologist during the coronavirus pandemic, received the highest approval on the question of who would be the most suitable federal health minister.

48 percent of those questioned voted for him on this point - and thus as successor to Jens Spahn.

With nine percent, Michael Theurer (FDP) is far behind.
