People's Assembly Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh affirmed that the Turkish regime, led by Recep Erdogan, continues its aggressive practices that target the unity, sovereignty and independence of Syria, a continuation of the terrorist war against it and a link in the chain of alliances with Western colonial powers, led by the United States, to serve the Zionist entity.
In a speech during the People's Assembly session today, Sabbagh reiterated the parliament's condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the decision issued two days ago by the Turkish Parliament to renew the so-called "authorization granted" to the head of the Turkish regime to send military forces to Iraq and Syria for a period of two years, stressing that this decision is "void, illegal and illegal." A number of members indicated that the Turkish incursion into Syrian territory represents a serious threat to international peace and security and a flagrant violation of international laws, and that the UN Security Council should condemn the policies and practices of the Turkish regime and force it to withdraw its forces and stop supporting terrorists and mercenaries, stressing the right of Syria to recover every inch of its territory. occupied by all possible means.
