People who receive notification of a positive PCR test * are asked to put themselves into isolation immediately. The health department will contact all infected people and inform them of the duration and termination of the isolation. In the meantime, the infected have been asked to inform people they have been in close contact with in the last two days. Close contacts would then have to go into quarantine immediately.

The city said the quarantine was currently ten days after the last contact with the infected person.

The quarantine can be ended after seven days if no symptoms typical of Corona have occurred during the quarantine "and a nucleic acid test or antigen test carried out no earlier than seven days after the last close contact shows a negative result," the press release continues.

The test must be carried out by an approved test center.
