It's getting cold in the Free State.
After the mild days at the weekend, the weather changes.
A cold front brings thunderstorms, storms, rain and fresh snow.
Munich - The golden days of October are over.
Bayern have to say goodbye to the mild temperatures of the last weekend for the time being.
A cold front from the North Sea hits the Free State and brings rain, thunderstorms and squalls with it.
As a result, temperatures are falling across Bavaria.
Already on the previous Monday (November 1st) the weather * showed itself from a wet and cold side.
So the autumn cold comes just in time for November.
The forecasts for the next few days make you sit up and take notice.
"Lots of fresh snow *" should fall on the Alps, as Kathy Schrey from

Weather in Bavaria: Cold front drops temperatures - fresh snow on the Alps
The cold front of a low * is currently moving across the Free State and causing temperatures to drop.
Increasingly colder air masses flow in behind the cold front.
"But it doesn't get much colder immediately, rather the maximum values go back a little every day," says meteorologist Marcus Beyer from the DWD of the dpa.
In the middle of next week, maximum values of around 8 to 9 degrees are to be expected in all of Bavaria.
According to current forecasts, the coldest day will be Thursday.

The Weather Channel
agree that a lot of fresh snow can be expected, especially on Wednesday and Thursday.
There should be sleet even as far as Munich *.
Storm gusts in the Alps, thunderstorms in Swabia
According to the DWD, it will not only snow in the Alps, but also storm.
Squalls * "around 80 km / h from the southwest" will occur, according to the weather service.
“In valley and pass areas prone to foehn”, gusts of wind of up to 60 km / h are also possible on Tuesday (November 2nd).
In southern Swabia there should be isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon *.
There it can also be stormy locally.
Due to the frosty temperatures in the next few days, slippery roads and morning fog can occur in Bavaria.
Schrey therefore urges motorists to be careful on the roads and those who have not yet done so should put on winter tires as quickly as possible.
