80 Chinese workers working on a project at a pumped storage power station on the Jordan Star have been infected in Corona.

The workers from China are part of about 500 workers employed in the project and live in six localities in the Springs Valley and the Jordan Valley.

Workers are vaccinated against corona as part of their employment conditions in the project, most of whom are vaccinated with the Chinese vaccine.

They work on site and are employed by a contracting company.

The decapitated command and the Ministry of Health instructed the workers to remain isolated in their residences, and are considering the possibility of transferring them to a motel.

In Kibbutz Ashdot Yaakov, a message was distributed to residents yesterday stating, "Chinese workers were instructed to stay solely in the compound and not to roam the locality. "Minutes, please enter voluntary isolation, perform a corona test, and wait for an answer before leaving isolation."

The Emek HaMa'ainot Regional Council said: "Last night we received the message. As far as we are concerned, there is no special instruction for the residents. These are workers who are not in contact with the residents. We are waiting for the Ministry of Health to receive instructions."

Idan Greenbaum, head of the Jordan Valley Council, said that "the workers live with us in one kibbutz. They do not eat in the dining room or walk around the community."
