Curriculum is the race, curriculum vitae, the course of life.
Since its appearance around 1900, in the Illustrated Nouveau Larousse, its price never ceases to climb;
most often abbreviated as CV, it is recommended not to forget the abbreviated points because cv is the symbol of the fiscal power unit of an engine, the fiscal horse.
Note: in traditional spelling (not reformed), curriculum vitae, locution of Latin origin, remains invariable but the abbreviated form curriculum, French word, takes the plural mark: curriculums.
