The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office has filed an indictment against Rady Abu Assav, a 35-year-old Jerusalem resident accused of drug trafficking.

In one of the incidents described in the indictment, Abu Assab hid 60 grams of heroin in a pita at the Nablus gate.

During the months of August-October, Abu Assab sold heroin several times.

The main event was when Abu Sha'asev held in a bag of pitas 59.09 grams net of a dangerous drug of the heroin type and entered the Old City of Jerusalem through the Nablus Gate.

A few minutes later, officers Raid Ali and Guan Ayub spotted the defendant and grabbed him by the hands.

Abu Assab threw the bag of pitas in his hand with the intention of preventing the police from finding the drug he was holding.

So, Officer Guan Job searched the pita bag and found the drug inside one of the pitas.

Abu 'Assab then started raging and tried to reach the bag, telling the police that they had implanted the drug in him.

"In his aforesaid acts, the defendant possessed a dangerous drug not for his own consumption, without a lawful permit. In addition, the defendant did anything with intent to prevent or obstruct a judicial proceeding or cause a miscarriage of justice, whether in concealing evidence or otherwise, and committed an act intentionally interfering with police. Legally or fail to do so, "the indictment reads.
