An Egged bus, which was on its way from Be'er Sheva to Eilat, was stoned to death this evening (Tuesday) on Road 25 near Dimona.
As a result of the incident, the bus was damaged and he was forced to deviate from its route and drop off its passengers at the central station in Dimona.
After the passengers got off in Dimona, they boarded a replacement bus and continued on their way to Eilat.
There were no casualties in the incident and the police opened an investigation into the case.
It should be noted that in recent months, residents of the south have been lamenting an increase in incidents of violence in the area, pointing the finger of blame at the lack of governance in the Bedouin sector.
