An indictment was filed today (Wednesday) against a 32-year-old Netanya resident, for assault causing injury after beating his ex-wife.
According to the full indictment, last week the defendant arrived at the club in the town where his ex-wife was staying, and as she was leaving the scene "attacked her with vigorous blows while dragging her by the hairs of her head".
Other than that, the defendant beat eyewitnesses who tried to intervene and assist the woman.
Netanya police opened an investigation and a few days later managed to get to the place where he was hiding, arrested him and he was taken for questioning.
The police requested that his detention be extended until the end of the proceedings.
