Another building in the chain of preventing disaster disasters is evacuating its occupants - this time in Kiryat Ono.
This is a building on Ahab Street 3 in the city, which was found last Thursday to be dangerous for residence due to an engineer warning.
Following the engineer's announcement, municipal inspectors ordered the 14 occupants of the building that they must vacate their apartments immediately, following assessments made by representatives of the municipality, the fire brigade and the municipal police.
This time, however, in contrast to other recent evictions, the building will be quickly strengthened in a flash to allow tenants to vacate their property before demolition.
Israel Gal, the mayor of Kiryat Ono, turned to the developer in order for him to find housing solutions for the residents, identical to those that would have taken place if the eviction process had begun.
Thus, according to an agreement between the Kiryat Ono municipality and the developer, the latter will begin today (Sunday) strengthening the foundations of the building at 3 Ahab Street, in order to give families time to clear their belongings.
At the same time, the developer will take care of movable storage space and will start paying rent to tenants.
Within three years, tenants will be able to return to a new building and new apartments.
It should be noted that the building at 3 Ahab Street in Kiryat Ono is intended for evacuation-construction, and is already in an advanced process.
The municipality informed the developer that it will expedite the latest licensing procedures for construction in a special procedure and at the beginning of the week an application will be submitted to the local committee.
The municipality is in direct contact with the building's occupants and the developer in order to find solutions to problems arising from the rapid evacuation as well as finding a solution to the children's educational frameworks.
