Today, the health authorities in Russia announced a new record increase in the number of deaths due to infection with the Corona virus.
The headquarters for combating the spread of the Corona virus said in a statement that the number of deaths from the virus reached 1189 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total deaths to 242,060 since the outbreak of the pandemic in Russia.
The statement indicated that 40443 cases of the virus were recorded during the past hours, bringing the total number of infections to 8,633 thousand and 643 cases.
Yesterday, infections with the Corona virus in Russia exceeded 39,000, while health authorities recorded 1,178 deaths.
