Al-Waleed gin in Homs has started the process of receiving the current season’s cottons from farmers in Deir ez-Zor, which is expected to reach about 4,000 tons of the beloved cotton.
Engineer Ibrahim Al-Sarem, director of the Al-Waleed gin in Homs, explained to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the quantities received to date exceeded 569 tons of fine cotton, which were unloaded, checked and sorted by technicians in the gin, pointing out that the process of checking production machines by technical personnel and ensuring their good technical condition and the operation of the gin was completed. experimental.
Al-Sarem pointed out that a contract was made with the union of load and porter workers to complete the process of unloading the loads of cotton, and all health measures and measures were taken to ensure occupational and general safety for all workers.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Waleed gin in Homs sold the entire ginned cotton last season, which amounted to more than 1,400 tons, and last season received about 4 thousand tons of cottons from the eastern region.
